HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY 2013

Hello friends,  It's been a while since I've posted something, I have been trying to figure out "WHY" we haven't reached our REAL INDEPENDENCE DAY yet? I have tried to make people see that we need to be independent, once and for all. In my past blogs, all I have said is "WE", like in"WE THE PEOPLE" sound familiar? So why do most people still say "I"? Because I don't understand, if our DECLARATION states INDEPENDENCE, why aren't we? We all have the choice to be Whoever, Whatever, live Wherever, Whenever WE want, so why not start today to be REALLY INDEPENDENT. GOD gave us free will (seems like We pay"not everyone" for everything else) to know the difference between good and bad, right and wrong, help and hurt, give and take, you would THINK! Well it's about TIME we wake up and smell the coffee, we drink enough of it, to be  AWARE of what's GOING ON in OUR COUNTRY. WE'VE come to far, fought to many wars, lost to many people, DEFENDING our COUNTRY AMERICA, home of BRAVE and land of the FREE. We need that INDEPENDENT PEOPLE PARTY AMERICANS FOR AMERICA TODAY! No if's and but's about it, if we all NEED and WANT the same things in OUR lives,( I know we do) it's today. So Stand up for OUR RIGHTS and take charge of OUR FUTURE,( if we are to have one) and become an independent people. That's what and why OUR forefathers fought and died BELIEVING in this PROUD and FREE  country AMERICA . The "GOOD OLD USA", have a safe and good 4th enjoy and GOD BLESS

JULY 4 2012 INDEPENDENCE DAY

 Hello  friends, here we are celebrating OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY 2012, and what does that mean to US? Well for sure, WE fought for OUR RIGHTS to become an INDEPENDENT COUNTRY a long, long, long time ago. On July 4, 1776 the Declaration Of Independence was ammended to the Constitution of the United States giving US that right, once and for ALL! But somewhere and someone decided for US to be divided not united, and thats where we stand  TODAY. I don't know how you feel about that, but it makes me feel uneasy, sad, and mostly upset, that WE accept IT. On this day we should be HAPPY and PROUD to be an AMERICAN, for what WE stand for, what do we stand for? To watch this country be torn apart, and watch all OUR morals, values, faith DISAPPEAR before our eyes, WHY? WE  all need to become more accountable for what happens in AMERICA, and hold those not accountable now, ACCOUNTABLE. It is our responsibility to this country, for WHICH IT STANDS, as OUR forefathers stated, to be INDEPENDENT. So today should be the START of US getting and going BACK to our heritage, and become that GREAT NATION, under  GOD, from which WE came from. I hope you have the COURAGE, and be BRAVE enough, to STAND UP  and say, I'm an AMERICAN, I'm INDEPENDENT, I'm UNITED (not divided) and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to acheive this. We can make this HAPPEN, believe it,  do it NOW and a change will come. It took US time to become that INDEPENDENT COUNTRY back in 1776, it won't be that long for US to get there TODAY. The Declaration of Independence was a statement adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which announced that the thirteen American colonies, then at war with Great Britain, regarded themselves as independent states, and no longer a part of the British Empire. John Adams put forth a resolution earlier in the year which made a formal declaration inevitable. A committee was assembled to draft the formal declaration, to be ready when congress voted on independence. The Declaration justified the independence of the United States by listing colonial grievances against King George III, and by asserting certain natural and legal rights, including a right of revolution. Having served its original purpose in announcing independence, the text of the Declaration was initially ignored after the American Revolution. Since then, it has come to be considered a major statement on human rights, particularly its second sentence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

This has been called "one of the best-known sentences in the English language"^[5], containing "the most potent and consequential words in American history."^[6] The passage came to represent a moral standard to which the United States should strive. MEMORIAL DAY 2012

Hello friends,  I hope you're enjoying this day, and also remembering why we celebrate this day. To pay respect for OUR HEROES, men and women who gave their lives for US. We know that all our lives depend on our soldiers defending AMERICA, and what it stands for OUR FREEDOM. Freedom to live our lives doing what we want to do, with nobody telling us no you can't. That's a privilege WE have because of THEM and what they DIED for. Although we may not think about it, it's something we take for granted every day, our freedom. You and I need to make sure that OUR FREEDOM stays that way, but I'm not so sure it will.We have allowed some things in OUR SOCIETY to fall down and disappear from OUR VIEW. Everyday some part of it, is being taken away from US, is there nothing we can do?  In America we have rights to secure our future on how to maintain this thing called freedom. So WE and our future generations have those rights, that nobody can take them away from US. WE THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, is that RIGHT on how we KEEP  that FREEDOM ALIVE for US! All those people had VALUES and TRADITIONS worth FIGHTING and DYING for, do YOU? Now  is the TIME for all of US, to take a LOOK at what we stand for, us AMERICANS. Are WE willing to show that WE will DEFEND OUR PEOPLE and OUR COUNTRY, for which it stands?  I sure hope so that we can SURVIVE all that might try to DESTROY our VALUES, TRADITIONS, and OUR FREEDOM.  So remember those who gave their ALL for FREEDOM, and enjoy this MEMORIAL DAY 2012. Memorial Day was officially proclaimed on 5 May 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, in his General Order No. 11, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. The first state to officially recognize the holiday was New York in 1873. By 1890 it was recognized by all of the northern states. The South refused to acknowledge the day, honoring their dead on separate days until after World War I (when the holiday changed from honoring just those who died fighting in the Civil War to honoring Americans who died fighting in any war). It is now celebrated in almost every State on the last Monday in May (passed by Congress with the National Holiday Act of 1971 (P.L. 90 - 363) to ensure a three day weekend for Federal holidays), though several southern states have an additional separate day for honoring the Confederate war dead: January 19 in Texas, April 26 in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi; May 10 in South Carolina; and June 3 (Jefferson Davis' birthday) in Louisiana and Tennessee. In 1915, inspired by the poem "In Flanders Fields," Moina Michael replied with her own poem:

We cherish too, the Poppy red That grows on fields where valor led, It seems to signal to the skies That blood of heroes never dies.

She then conceived of an idea to wear red poppies on Memorial day in honor of those who died serving the nation during war. She was the first to wear one, and sold poppies to her friends and co-workers with the money going to benefit servicemen in need. Later a Madam Guerin from France was visiting the United States and learned of this new custom started by Ms.Michael and when she returned to France, made artificial red poppies to raise money for war orphaned children and widowed women. This tradition spread to other countries. In 1921, the Franco-American Children's League sold poppies nationally to benefit war orphans of France and Belgium. The League disbanded a year later and Madam Guerin approached the VFW for help. Shortly before Memorial Day in 1922 the VFW became the first veterans' organization to nationally sell poppies. Two years later their "Buddy" Poppy program was selling artificial poppies made by disabled veterans. In 1948 the US Post Office honored Ms Michael for her role in founding the National Poppy movement by issuing a red 3 cent postage stamp with her likeness on it. Traditional observance of Memorial day has diminished over the years. Many Americans nowadays have forgotten the meaning and traditions of Memorial Day. At many cemeteries, the graves of the fallen are increasingly ignored, neglected. Most people no longer remember the proper flag etiquette for the day. While there are towns and cities that still hold Memorial Day parades, many have not held a parade in decades. Some people think the day is for honoring any and all dead, and not just those fallen in service to our country.
There are a few notable exceptions. Since the late 50's on the Thursday before Memorial Day, the 1,200 soldiers of the 3d U.S. Infantry place small American flags at each of the more than 260,000 gravestones at Arlington National Cemetery. They then patrol 24 hours a day during the weekend to ensure that each flag remains standing. In 1951, the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of St. Louis began placing flags on the 150,000 graves at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery as an annual Good Turn, a practice that continues to this day. More recently, beginning in 1998, on the Saturday before the observed day for Memorial Day, the Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts place a candle at each of approximately 15,300 grave sites of soldiers buried at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park on Marye's Heights (the Luminaria Program). And in 2004, Washington D.C. held its first Memorial Day parade in over 60 years.
To help re-educate and remind Americans of the true meaning of Memorial Day, the "National Moment of Remembrance" resolution was passed on Dec 2000 which asks that at 3 p.m. local time, for all Americans "To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a Moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to 'Taps."
The Moment of Remembrance is a step in the right direction to returning the meaning back to the day. What is needed is a full return to the original day of observance. Set aside one day out of the year for the nation to get together to remember, reflect and honor those who have given their all in service to their country.
But what may be needed to return the solemn, and even sacred, spirit back to Memorial Day is for a return to its traditional day of observance. Many feel that when Congress made the day into a three-day weekend in with the National Holiday Act of 1971, it made it all the easier for people to be distracted from the spirit and meaning of the day. As the VFW stated in its 2002 Memorial Day address: "Changing the date merely to create three-day weekends has undermined the very meaning of the day. No doubt, this has contributed greatly to the general public's nonchalant observance of Memorial Day."
On January 19, 1999 Senator Inouye introduced bill S 189 to the Senate which proposes to restore the traditional day of observance of Memorial Day back to May 30th instead of "the last Monday in May". On April 19, 1999 Representative Gibbons introduced the bill to the House (H.R. 1474). The bills were referred the Committee on the Judiciary and the Committee on Government Reform.

PATRIOTS DAY 2012

Hello friends, well here we are celebrating"PATRIOTS DAY" 2012, and what does this day mean to you? I know what it means to me, that some people called "PATRIOTS" have defended and died for their  country. Would  YOU be willing to do that for our future, like they did? Then you would also be a PATRIOT, a person with beliefs that values and traditions are worth fighting for, correct? I would like to BELIEVE so, because they also believed that OUR COUNTRY was worth whatever it took to keep it "OURS" With all the problems today in our country, some might NOT think so, and there's the problem. WE ALL need to think that it's worth the sacrifice to keep AMERICA strong and stable, for all of us to have a future. Most of us, I would like to say ALL OF US, give praise to our patriotic men and women, who are defending freedom & liberty all around this world. But we need PATRIOTIC PEOPLE right here at HOME, in our "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". To STAND UP  and let people know that WE are here and not going AWAY, for what we believe is OUR RIGHTS.The"INDEPENDENT PEOPLE  PARTY AMERICANS FOR AMERICA  has those same beliefs. NOW is the time to show HOW UNITED WE ARE, not how DIVIDED we are, to overcome all the problems we face TOGETHER. To be strong, secure, stable, a society with a belief of hopes and dreams, justice, equality & unity for all who are willing to SACRIFICE whatever it takes, for those beliefs. April fool's Day 2012 (Who's foolin Who?)

Hello friends, Well it's been 2 years (to the day) since I started my quest to get US UNITED, and start the INDEPENDENT PEOPLE PARTY AMERICANS FOR  AMERICA. Our goal is to STOP the political circus in our society today, and CREATE a UNITED third party. ONE that once and FOR ALL will bring back all the things that "ALL" of us have lost sight of. I don't know exactly when or how this happened, but I have my own beliefs, I'm sure YOU have yours too. What I know is it's for sure SOMEONE is trying to fool US to believe that their LOOKING out for our BEST interest, who fooling who? If you're a "Working Class Hero" where's your tax dollar going? And why isn't it doing what it should, and does EVERYONE contribute to HELP & PROTECT this country the way we know WE SHOULD? If we keep going the way we are today, there is no light at the end of the tunnel, no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, no AMERICAN DREAM, no FUTURE for us and our children, or OUR COUNTRY! What WE need to do is BRING BACK our BELIEFS that all of us have the rights & choice, to accept or reject what is not acceptable to US. It's TIME has come for US to take a STAND and go "BACK TO THE FUTURE" if we're to have one at all. So TODAY lets START BELIEVING in OURSELVES, and take back OUR FUTURE for the "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. NO more FOOLS for US, and no more being FOOLED by those who have been chosen by us, to  DO WHAT THEY WANT without our CONSENT or PERMISSION. We need ACCOUNTABILITY of those people first, to build TRUST & RESPECT second, but above all to know the TRUTH.

Until 1971, both February 12 and February 22 were observed as federal public holidays to honor the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln (February 12) and George Washington (February 22). In 1971 President Richard Nixon proclaimed one single federal public holiday, the Presidents' Day, to be observed on the 3rd Monday of February, honoring all past presidents of the United States of America.

GEORGE WASHINGTON (February 22, 1732 - December 14, 1799). Early in his life George Washington became an experienced surveyor. Following these years, he fought in the French and Indian War. After the war he returned to Mount Vernon in 1758, married Martha Dandridge in 1759, and became a planter. That same year he became involved in politics when he was elected representative to the Virginia House of Burgesses. He was a representative until 1774 when he became a delegate to the Continental Congress. In May of 1775 George Washington was appointed Commander of the American army during the Revolution. He was the first President, (1789 1797) governing the 13 states.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN (February 12, 1809 - April 15, 1865). Abe Lincoln was born into a poor family and had little formal schooling. He basically taught himself to read and write and walked long distances to borrow books. He failed in early business and political ventures, yet became President in 1861 and guided the Union through the Civil War. He shaped his own character and education as was evident in the simple language he used in his speeches. His famous Gettysburg Address was delivered in 1863. LincGln was assassinated on April 15, 1865 during a performance at Ford's Theatre in Washington just a few days after General Robert E. Lee and his army surrendered.

Presidents Day 2012

Hello friends, Well here we are celebrating Presidents Day and what exactly what does that mean to you and me. To me it's a day to remember, respect and recognize what our past Presidents did for our people and country. To create a country of people who need and want the same things for all who live here the " UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". America the land of the Free, home of  the BRAVE, LIBERTY for all, people who know what that means. But somewhere along the way, WE lost sight of those goals and dreams, letting our WANTS overpower our NEEDS. George Washington said "few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder" Thomas Jefferson said " he who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it easier to do it a second time till it becomes habitual. Also the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of "Patriots" and Tyrants, it's natural manure. John Kennedy said " A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives ON. Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate. Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan. And the one I LIKE BEST, "AND SO MY FELLOW AMERICANS ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY'! This is the question WE must ask ourselves TODAY, how can we help "OUR AMERICA". First WE must make it The "UNITED" states of America, not the DIVIDED states once and for all," FOR ALL OF US"! IF we let continue to let the WRONGS over power  the RIGHTS we  will FALL. Even if we have to fight for those rights our Constitution says "WE THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, gives US those rights, We must have a POSITIVE  VOICE that will be HEARD, to lead us UP and OUT of this "Revolving Door" cycle were IN. WE must listen to our past Presidents words, to have a Future, so let us  START TO CHANGE NOW! We need to create a SAFE AND SECURE SOCIETY willing to SACRIFICE some things to achieve  LIBERTY, EQUALITY, JUSTICE, FREEDOM and PEACE here in OUR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. GOD BLESS

History of New Years Day 145 The celebration of the new year is one of the oldest holidays. Many believe it was first observed in ancient Babylon about 4000 years ago it marked the first New Moon after the Vernal Equinox. The Babylonian new year celebration lasted for eleven days. How did New Years Day move from the summer to the winter? A good question, especially since the spring is the season of rebirth, of planting new crops, and of blossoming. Today New years Day is January 1st.  The month of January was named for their god, Janus, who is pictured with two heads. One looks forward, the other back, symbolizing a break between the old and new. The Greeks paraded a baby in a basket to represent the spirit of fertility. Christians adopted this symbol as the birth of the baby Jesus and continued what started as a pagan ritual. Today our New Year's symbols are a newborn baby starting the next year and an old man winding up the last year.  Not all countries celebrate New Year at the same time, nor in the same way. This is because people in different parts of the world use different calendars. Long ago, people divided time into days, months, and years. Some calendars are based on the movement of the moon, others are based on the position of the sun, while others are based on both the sun and the moon. All over the world, there are special beliefs about New Year.  The Jewish New Year is called Rosh Hashanah. It is a holy time when people reflect on the things done wrong in the past, with a promise to do better in the future. Religious services are held in synagogues, and an instrument called a Shofar, which is made from a ram's horn is played. Children are given new clothes, and New Year loaves are baked and fruit is eaten to remind people of harvest time.  The Chinese New Year is celebrated some time between January 17 and February 19, at the time of the new moon, and it is called Yuan Tan. It is celebrated by Chinese people all over the world, and street parades are an exciting part of their New Year. At the Festival of Lanterns thousands of lanterns are used to light the way for the New Year. The Chinese people believe that there are evil spirits around at New Year, so they let off firecrackers to frighten the spirits away. Sometimes they seal their windows and doors with paper to keep the evil spirits out.  The traditions of the season include the making of New Year's resolutions. Making a resolutions to change some part of one's life also dates back to the early Babylonians. Today most people promise to lose weight or quit smoking.  Our ancestors thought that one could affect the luck they would have throughout the coming year by what they did or ate on the first day of the year. It has become common for folks to celebrate the first few minutes of a brand new year in the company of family and friends.  New Year foods are also thought to bring luck. Many cultures believe that anything in the shape of a ring is good luck, because it symbolizes "coming full circle," completing a year's cycle. Some put coins in black-eyed peas and the person who gets the coin in their meal will be prosperous in the coming year.

Hello friends, Well here we are again toasting in the new year, hoping that it will be a happy and healthy one. Well for some of us it will  be, but not for all of us, and that makes ME sad. You see, that the new year is a time to look back, as well as forward, to see what's ahead. WE need to change the mindset in our society today, so that we can have a positive outlook for OUR tomorrows. What I can see is, that those in charge of our well being, DIDN'T do what they said they would DO. That leaves US in uncertainty, as to the direction in which were headed, it's not the right answer for me. It's our jobs, our homes, our food, our health, and our land that is in jeopardy! This is not acceptable, and those who were elected to serve and protect the people, should be held accountable to them for not doing so. So OUR NEW YEARS resolution should be WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN IF WE WANT IT TO BE, because it's the HOME of the BRAVE and the LAND of the FREE. Just BELIEVE in "WE THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE and ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL, UNITED WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL! Have a SAFE and HAPPY NEW YEAR  GOD BLESS

In addition, several closely related and often interchangeable figures, known as Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas and Kris Kringle among other names, are associated with bringing gifts to children during the Christmas season and have their own body of traditions and lore.[20] Because gift-giving and many other aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economic activity among both Christians and non-Christians, the holiday has become a significant event and a key sales period for retailers and businesses. The economic impact of Christmas is a factor that has grown steadily over the past few centuries in many regions of the world.

Hello friends, Well Christmas is here, and what have we done to keep  "CHRISTMAS" alive and well? First, Christmas is when Jesus Christ was born, hence CHRISTmas, so let's keep CHRIST in CHRISTMAS. A day of reflection and celebration, in his holy honor for us to keep the FAITH. Goodwill towards us, is what Christmas is all about, faith, family and friends. Peace on earth, love one another, help each other, and show we care is also part of the CHRISTMAS SPIRT. Giving of what we can to those who need it the most, is what we should be doing, but ARE WE?  I think not the best we could do, don't you agree with me_____ I'll take that as a yes. Giving can be a simple "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to everyone you talk to, a handshake as well, shows you care about them. It's nice to receive, just as nice to give, makes it a double blessing. Gratitude, to be grateful to be able to share the simple things, that bring joy and happiness to us. Christmas has gotten to commercialized, it''s turned into a business, to bad. To give to the people who have not, makes us realize what we have to give. Sounds simple and easy huh, why not try it for yourself and see how it feels. It's one of  the best feelings that we can feel, knowing that you helped make it better for others. Don't let the SPIRT of Christmas slip away, it's what we all need to stay connected. Not the disconnection, division and dysfunction that is in our society today, slowly dissolving all human feelings for each other. WE should celebrate Christmas 365 days a year, to GIVE every day, would definitely change the world to be a better place in which to live. Which brings to mind a quote from me," in order to live you have to give, if you only take it's going to break" So please keep CHRISTMAS alive and well, because if you don't we're going to hell(sorry). Christmas is for the children, so teach them about Christ first, then about Santa Claus and the present. GOD'S gift to us every day, is the PRESENT, the here and now, so make it the best day possible. Today and every day hereafter! GIVE- GOODWILL- PEACE-LOVE-MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL

VETERANS DAY REMEMBERANCE

Hello friends, It's Veterans Day 2011 a national holiday since November 11, 1918 when it was regarded as the end "the war to end all wars".  Well it didn't end all wars as we know, or stop what it should have from happening again. Why? I'm not sure, but here's what I do know. War's have been going on since man does not know how to achieve or attain peace on this planet. So we  have wars and wars and wars and people dying and injured because of wars. How many more wars and how many people have to suffer? We need to stop this now, before it's to late for all of US.  Our Government did not and does not take care of our veterans the way it should. THEY know it, WE know it, and the veterans are suffering today, and have been for years. They need our support to make it through the changes they face day to day to survive. Some have given their LIVES for OUR FREEDOM, some injured, their lives will never be the same. All this has to be dealt with and made right for our veterans NOW! So on this Veterans Day all of us should make a sacrafice to help any way we can. GIVE your time, GIVE your possessions, GIVE your money, whatever is needed to make our veterans know WE support them like they supported US! God bless you, God bless them, and God bless America. People get ready "taking it to the streets"

Hello friends,  well it looks like "we the people" are ready to take a stand against what we believe in. It's about time we wake up and make others KNOW were here for justice and accountability. Why it took us so long is in the past, what matters now is where WE go from here. I know it's not going to be easy today, but it will make US stronger in the future. The "occupy" movement is just the beginning of the people not willing to accept the present politics anymore in AMERICA. So I hope you agree with me that NOW is the time for US people to get ready and change the direction were headed in from down to up! All we need is a positive mind set, and were on our way. Take a LOOK take a STAND!

Hello friends, Well I don't know how you see the current political circus in America is  going, but it's not in the people's hands right now. All the party's seem to be in opposite directions as usual, because they are "divided" in their minds. On what direction to take for us, the "PEOPLE of AMERICA", which should be simple for them to SEE. Because RIGHT now it's clear to ME, that DIVIDED is not the answer for US. So WE have to take a STAND to make them aware, that WE will not let AMERICA fail for us, like they have! WE THE PEOPLE must come together right now,  before it's to late to change the direction they have us heading, "DOWN". We all need to be on the same page in OUR MINDS, which is POSITIVE and the direction is "UP" So WE need to make this happen RIGHT NOW to get us out of the revolving door going in circles syndrome. WE'VE been in it to long, divided going nowhere, not where WE SHOULD BE or COULD BE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, wouldn't you say?  Hello friends, It's been ten years to the day, when our people and loved ones, were taken away. Suddenly without warning or notice to say "GOODBYE", those terrorists took to our sky. They took away the towers, the Pentagon, and those people too, but not our love for me and you. The Strength and Spirt that we possess, is truly AMERICA, we have been BLESSED. We will ALWAYS remember this day in our hearts, because we are AMERICANS, right from the start. We are BRAVE and we are FREE, and we believe in our DIGNITY. What is "Labor Day"

Hello friends, Here we are celebrating "Labor Day 2011" but should we with what's going on in our country today. Labor Day was first observed  on Sept. 5, 1882, by the Central Labor Union of New York. President Grover Cleveland reconciled with the labor movement, following the deaths of some workers by U.S.military and U.S. marshals, during the Pullman strike. He rushed through a bill making it a national holiday in 1894. The pattern of celebration was a street parade, to show the STRENGTH and SPIRT of trade and labor organizations. Speeches by prominent men and women with more emphasis on ECONOMIC and CIVIL significance of the holiday. So with that said, should WE be celebrating or THINKING of our future TOMORROWS? I think not, with MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people out of work today, WHY? Labor is the backbone of AMERICA, it's what got us to who we are as a COUNTRY! So how did we get to this point, we got GREEDY and DID NOT care about the consequences to the people. Both the government and the unions are to blame for this as I see it. They knew what could happen and it did, the bottom fell out. They did not support the people who support them, the TAXPAYER who pays their salaries and dues. Instead, they sold us DOWN the river and OUTsourced  OUR work ELSEWHERE! What happened is our fault, because WE let AMERICA down plain and simple. DO we all buy american products and goods? If I can find them I do, DO YOU? What country do you support?  Where is the car, clothes, food, products from, that you buy? AMERICA? I guess you get my point here, if we ALL support AMERICA, AMERICA will support US. It"s not TWO hard to understand, WE both go HAND in/to HAND, get it? Happy "LABOR DAY"

United or Divided?

Hello friends, So here we are again thinking and talking about, United States or Divided States? Well to me it's real simple, we're the "divided states" because of our current politics. As I stated before when we formed the United States, the 13 colonies agreed on acting as one for  all. But somewhere and sometime ago, we lost sight of those goals they had.  I made up this quote "All for one and one for all, UNITED we stand   d i  v  i   d  e  d  we fall". I think that says it all, that we are no longer the United States, but the divided states we are! Why have "we the people" chosen not to be United anymore, and settle for division? Our elected government has been divided for years, and make us choose what side we're on. They can't make decisions that they can agree on, to benefit the people who elect them on their behalf why? Because they are divided in their beliefs, when OUR COUNTRY is the one that suffers their lack of concern. So when do we the people get back to being united as we should be? What does it take for us to see that this way we're going is in circles. Over and over again we vote someone in office who says they will help us, have they? WE still haven't got what we were promised, so we need to start to make up our minds NOW. We need the  "INDEPENDENT PEOPLE" party to get this country back on the right track. In order to change this direction we're headed, some may need to change the way they think. In order to do this everyone must be on the same page, in their mind it must be on the positive side. When we all think positive, we will get positive results, so will our positive actions prove this as well. The United States is more than a country on this planet, it stands for freedom, liberty, peace and the pursuit of happiness for ALL! So are we UNITED or DIVIDED? If you feel like I do, and agree with me, let's start by uniting us "WE THE INDEPENDENT PEOPLE PARTY' of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Once and for all.

Are we really independent and free?

Hello friends, sorry it's been so long, but I'm still learning how to reach you on my computer. Well it's the fourth of July again, Independence Day, a time to celebrate the United States independence. But are WE independent and free, the way they said it in the Declaration of Independence, and signed it back in 1776? I think not, because of all the problems we are being faced with today. "We the people" are not being heard, and haven't been in a long, long time, don't you agree? I'm old enough to know that we need to get back to what made us, the " United States of America". That all men and women are created equal, pursuit of happiness, with freedom and justice for all. But we don't practice what we preach, do we? And why not, is what I would like to know NOW! how about you? It's time has come to take back our country, and bring respect, truth, dignity, freedom and peace via intelligence,wisdom and common sense! As I said before, we need a "positive mindset" for all of us to make it work. We need to be on the same page, so there are no reasons, problems or excuses. Our work is cut out for us, so we need to start today, to form a new old party, the "Independent People "party.We are the" United" States Of America, not the "Divided" States of America, which we are now. So what do you say? Are you "IN" or out, to join our quest to bring back independence and freedom to this great land of America?

INDEPENDENCE DAY ( JULY 4TH)

Hello friends,
Sorry it's been so long to hear from me, my computer was down but I'm here now. So let's get back to the real issue, what independence is all about to us all. To me it means that I have a choice in what I say, do, and where I go. But not all of us really are as independent as we think, sometimes we're told what to say, what to do, and where to go. Doesn't sound INDEPENDENT to me, don't you agree? So to really be independent, we must define what independent means. To be free of outside control or authority, is one of many listed under independent in our dictionary. Independence Day celebrates our freedom nationally, on the day we became "free". But how did we become free? We declared our freedom, and we fought for that freedom, don't you remember! All of us need to continue that fight for our freedom, like those who fought before us, if we are to remain free. To do this we must all be independent, to make the right choices in our lives for the betterment of mankind. So if we celebrate this day every year, why are we not united in our being "INDEPENDENT" all of us as one? As I stated before I've been an '"INDEPENDENT " all my life, in voting since 1982. WE ALL NEED TO BE INDEPENDENT starting RIGHT NOW, on this "INDEPENDENCE DAY"2010. If we all change our mindset to really be independent and free, we will all accomplish this together as one people. We must challenge our choices and change our direction from the way it's going, before it's to late. So let's begin our fight for our continued FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE !

NEW PARTY PLEASE

Hello friends, this day is about all the people who gave the ultimate sacrifice, their lives for the country they believed in. Memorial Day is a day to honor, respect and remember, what they did was not to be in vain, or forgotten EVER. So please take a moment, say a prayer in silence, to show that we are here for them. WE NEED RESPECT AND TRUST NOW MORE THAN EVER TO ACCOMPLISH OUR GOAL! Our party needs these things brought back in our lives, to overcome all the divisions and dysfunction in our society today. Don't you agree? The time is NOW, to take a stand for what we believe is right and good for all people. So let's get the NEWKNOWNOW INDEPENDENTPEOPLEPARTY up and going in the right direction. ARE YOU WITH ME SO FAR? I sure hope so because we need everyone with the same mindset. It's not about black or white, it's about wrong or right. Truth or lie, live or die, it's not so complicated or hard to understand, woman or man, boy or girl we all live in the same world. We all have the same need's, job,home, food, medical and clean air,water and soil. These are not wants, these are NEEDED TO SURVIVE AND EXIST ON THIS PLANET EARTH! By the way, what have we done for the poor and sick, or the planet lately, WHERE DO I BEGIN. It's a shame and a sin to neglect all the things that are important to all the people in this world. The attitude of some people today is "I only think of me" to bad about you, I JUST DON'T CARE. My awnser to those people is this,"WE NEED TO SHARE TO SHOW WE CARE" it's that simple. One of MY quotes is " IN ORDER TO LIVE, YOU HAVE TO GIVE, IF YOU ONLY TAKE,IT'S ONLYGOING TO BREAK. So with that said, where do you stand on these issues? What are you willing to sacrifise your wealth ? your life? ANYTHING? What kind of person are you not to do what is needed to save our people, our land, in this time of need. It's GREED that has gotten us into this situation, we need to show some people WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW TODAY! So let's get this party on the minds of all who care about the UNITED STATES AND WHAT IT STANDS FOR. THE "INDEPENDENT PEOPLE"party

Hello friends, I'm here to talk about our party and what it means to us as a independent party. First let me start by saying that we all should independent, because we're all individual people. We need to get on the same page mentally, to accomplish a new agenda that is right for all people. I think all of us agree that there are two right now, remember I'm a twin so to me that's how I see it. I hope you do two/too, I have a sense for humor as you can tell by my verbiage not garbage. There's the rich, and there's the poor, the rich have a different set of rules than the poor do. It's not fair or right, it's just how the system is set up, above or below that's it. There's also two types of corruption, we all knew about the illegal kind, but now we're finding out the "legal" kind. The kind that steals, and has gotten away with it for years, at our expense. Sorry to say but it's true, we've been told lies for so long that we believe what we hear. I could go on forever, but I'm tired of a negative mindset, I'm a positive person with a positive mindset. I'm looking for people with the same mindset, so we can start to rebuild/build a nation of greatness for all. I hope you share the same vision as I do, please let me know now.

Our "newknownow"Independentpeople party

Hello friends, well by now you know what it is that I'm trying to get started, a third party in our government. Once and for all, a party for the people, by the people, and no excuses this time! But before we begin, all of us have to be on the same page & mindset, or it won't work. This is so simple it's confusing, and so confusing, it's simple. Let me explain this to you, if we're on the same page it's simple, if we're not it's confusing, does that make sense to you ? If so, we're on the same page & mindset, and we can start from here. What I say to "people" is this, pretend your blind, what color is my skin? what sex am I? and what is my faith? Do these things mean anything to you? I HOPE THAT THEY DON'T, if they do then you can't be in the party, because you have the wrong mindset. We are all people, and we need not to let those questions affect how we feel about someone, period. What I say to "people" is I only want to know, are you good or bad? give or take? help or hurt? I don't use the word "and" that is not what we need right now to get to where we need to be. Again, as a twin, it has to be one or the other, not both, it will not work with both mindsets, positive or negative, only positive. As you can tell, we have to make choices, as hard&tough as they will be. Remember the quotes, ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country and all for one and one for all, united we stand divided we fall. That say's it the way it needs to be said, pure and simple, like it or not. It's what we need to get in our mind, so we can start to change this country and world, to have a future.
